Wynn vs Encore: Is There Actually a Happy Hour?

Looking for a Wynn or Encore happy hour? Here is the honest answer, why this connected resort works differently from the rest of the Strip, and where to find real deals nearby.

Wynn vs Encore: Is There Actually a Happy Hour?

Most "Wynn vs Encore happy hour" searches are looking for something that, honestly, this resort does not really do.

Wynn and Encore are one connected property under one owner. You can walk from one tower to the other without stepping outside. And unlike almost every other resort on the Strip, this is not a discount-hunting destination. Wynn built its whole brand on charging full price for a polished experience, so you will not find the kind of aggressively advertised 4-to-6 bar deals that fill up Cosmopolitan, Aria, or the Venetian.

We only publish times and prices we can verify against a venue's own information. For Wynn and Encore, we could not confirm a single promoted happy hour bar on either side. So instead of inventing one, here is what is actually true, and where to go if a real deal is what you came for.

Why there is no clear "winner" here

The usual way to compare two resorts is to line up their best happy hour bars and see who is cheaper. That comparison falls apart at Wynn and Encore because neither tower has a verified happy hour to line up.

We checked. As of mid-2026, Wynn's own dining information for La Cave, its casual wine-and-food spot at the Wynn tower, states plainly that it does not currently advertise a happy hour. That is the pattern across the property. The bars are beautiful and the pours are generous, but the pricing is full-luxury, all day.

So if a page tells you Wynn's lounge does "$8 cocktails Monday to Friday" or that the Encore pool bar runs a set happy hour window, treat it with suspicion. We could not stand any of that up, so we will not print it.

What is actually open at Wynn right now

There is one dining room here worth naming, with the honest caveat that it is a restaurant, not a happy hour.

Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse sits in the Wynn Tower Suites. It is a Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone-inspired concept serving dinner Wednesday through Sunday, roughly 5:30pm to 10pm. There is no advertised happy hour and no discounted specials that we can confirm, so go in expecting a full-price steakhouse evening rather than a deal. If you want to sit at the bar for a drink before dinner, call ahead and ask what the bar offers that night, because it can change.

A couple of names you may have seen tied to Wynn are no longer options. Safta 1964, a pop-up that lived at Wynn, has closed. Fiola Mare, a planned seafood room, is not operating. If an older list points you to either one, it is out of date.

The Encore side

Encore is the newer, slightly more modern tower, and it shares the same no-discount philosophy as Wynn. We do not have a verified happy hour bar on the Encore side either. The pool and nightlife venues here run on event pricing and bottle service, not on the kind of set daily happy hour you can plan around.

Bottom line: whether you enter through Wynn or Encore, you are choosing atmosphere and service, not a bargain.

So who should still come here anyway?

Skip the deal math and this place makes sense in a few situations:

  • You are already staying at Wynn or Encore and want a beautiful bar without leaving the property.
  • You are having a proper dinner, say at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, and want a cocktail first. You are paying full price, but the setting earns it.
  • You care more about a quiet, high-end room than about saving five dollars on a pour.

If none of those describe you, and you are specifically hunting happy hour value, the north Strip has better options a short walk or ride away.

The honest verdict

There is no Wynn-vs-Encore happy hour showdown to call, because neither side runs one we can verify. This is a full-price luxury property by design. Come for the rooms, the restaurants, and the atmosphere. For the discounted afternoon drink, plan on a different address.
