Flights Happy Hour. The Strip

Everything at this Miracle Mile Shops spot arrives in threes. Flights, the Alex Hult restaurant tucked into suite 350 of the mall attached to Planet Hollywood, built its whole kitchen around the sampler format: a slider flight that moves from bacon cheeseburger to buffalo chicken to BBQ pork, a french fry flight in parmesan truffle, garlic, and sweet and smokey versions, plus skewer and wing trios for tables that want to graze. The bar mirrors the concept, and that is where the deal lives. From 9 am until 10 pm every day, a rotating drink flight goes for $15, three pours at once, with the featured cocktail switching on the hour like a departures board.

Mornings get the longest window. Mimosa and bloody mary flights hold from 9 am clear to 3 pm, generous by Strip standards. Then the board flips hourly: margaritas on the rocks at 3, daiquiris at 4, frozen margaritas at 5, mules at 6, mojitos at 7, martinis at 8, and frozen margaritas again for the final hour. Miss your pick and you wait for the next arrival, which is part of the fun.

The crowd is mostly shoppers taking a break and groups killing time before a show next door. Note the deal is drinks only; the food flights stay at regular price. Doors open at 8 am daily.
